Frances T. Biehl, age 84, died peacefully Friday afternoon, April 22, 2011 at Harbor House in Oshkosh. Fran was born May 26, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Angeline (Magon) Bobowski. She married Lawrence Biehl and together this union was blessed with six children. In addition to being a full-time mother, she was a Registered Nurse, and with her husband, Larry, spent over 25 years running the food pantry at Calumet City Resources in Calumet City, IL.

Fran was loved and will be missed by her children, Sr. Pamela of Oshkosh, Kathleen (David) Anderson of Seattle, WA , Michael (Cindy) of Euclid, OH, Thomas (Karen) of O'Fallon, MO and Janet of Omaha, NE; 9 grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, and son, James.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 830 Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calumet City Resources.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Bethel Home and Harbor House as well as the Home Care nurses that so generously cared for Fran.
