Obituary

Frank F. Nachtrab, age 74, of rural Berlin died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. He was born October 21, 1928 in Black Wolf, Wisconsin the son of Harvey and Caroline Ruedinger Nachtrab. He married Rosemary Davis on November 8, 1975 in Waukau, Wisconsin. Frank retired from Speed Queen as a Supervisor in 1990 after 42 ½ years of service and was a former Fire Chief of the Omro Fire Dept. Frank enjoyed the outdoors and would spend his time hunting, and fishing with his pal, Red.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rosemary, 4 sons; Terry (Cathy) of Pine River, Scott of Omro, Todd (Brenda) of Princeton and Jammie of Berlin, 2 daughters; Roxann (Jerry) Stroh of Spokane, Washington and Lennette (William) Radig of Omro, 13 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Lazetta Braatz of Brandon and Ruth Bauer of Omro, other relatives and many friends. Preceding Frank in death were his parents, son, Robin, brother, Joseph and sister, Frances.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, May 9, 2003 at the Omro Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. and then on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Donald Olm officiating. Burial will follow in the Omro Cemetery. A memorial in Frank's name has been established. A special thanks to Affinity Hospice and Dr. Joel Kavan for their compassionate care.
