Frank A. Schoenian, age 73, of Oshkosh. After three years of failing health the Lord took Frank home on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. He was born on June 19, 1931 in Oshkosh, a son of the late Otto and Margaret B. (Hackbarth) Schoenian.
Following High School, Frank served his country in the US Navy and had worked for and retired from the Leach Company. He was a lifetime member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. Frank greatly enjoyed listening to talk radio, reading, nature and meeting friends at Mike's Restaurant and his beloved companion dog, Belle.
Survivors include eleven nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Arthur Hackbarth; a sister, Ione Schinske.
Funeral services for Frank will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd., with the Reverend Jeffrey A. Berg officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of services. The staff of Seefeld Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family wishes to thank all of the friends and neighbors who helped Frank, the Doctors and staff whose care he was under and a special thank you to Jenny Seibold, her kindness and care was greatly apprceciated.
