Obituary

Gary A. Beiser, age 64, passed away after an 11 year courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born July 8, 1952, in Neenah, Wisconsin, to Hartwell and Melba Beiser. Gary grew up with six brothers. He was a graduate of Neenah High School and attended UW-River Falls.
On October 20, 1979, Gary married Kathryn Pfaffenroth and three years later Sarah, "his little munchkin," was born. Gary enjoyed being a dad to Sarah as well as time spent sketching, painting, playing chess, hiking, reading, and an avid Brewers fan.
Gary learned to rely on the Lord's faithfulness to help him remain strong and courageous. His determination to keep fighting and never give up reflected his recent favorite scripture verse, "I am as a wonder to many, but the Lord is my strong refuge." Gary was a long-time member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kathryn Beiser; his daughter, Sarah (Paul) Much; five brothers, Steven (Dorothy) Beiser of New London, Terry Beiser, Brian (Mary) Beiser, Glen Beiser, and Guy Beiser all of Neenah; two brothers-in-law, James (Sharon) Pfaffenroth of Canada and Steven (Sandy) Pfaffenroth of Oshkosh; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Proceeding Gary in death are his parents, a brother, Craig Beiser, a sister-in-law, Pat Beiser, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Martha and Albert Pfaffenroth, two nephews, Daniel and Jonathan Pfaffenroth, and other aunts and uncles.
Gary's family wishes to express a very special thank you for the care, compassion, and encouragement given Gary during his lengthy hospital stay to his primary doctor, Dr. Robert Taylor. To everyone in Suite 930 and the staff on 12T at St. Luke Medical Center in Milwaukee who became part of our family…Thank you.
