Genevieve J. Chellow, age 96, of Oshkosh, died Friday afternoon, December 2, 2016, at Park View Health Center. Born on July 6, 1920, in Oshkosh, Genevieve was the only child of Charles and Edna (Smith) Ream. She belonged to a motorcycle club when younger, owning and riding her own Indian Motorcycle. Genevieve worked at Diamond Match Company, Dunphy Boats, and was employed full-time at Miles Kimball Company as a printer in the Printing Department for 35 years before her retirement.
Survivors include her three daughters, Susan Burns of Oshkosh, Mary Ellen (John) Dusha of Green Bay, and Dorell (Donny) Knoblauch of Oshkosh; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Genevieve was preceded in death by her son, William Charles Chellow in 1985.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will take place at the Omro Cemetery.
