Obituary

George A. Cuske passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008. He was born in Oshkosh on July 8, 1926 to Anton and Daisy (Cook) Cuske. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. Then on January 17, 1953 he married Lynn J. Stowe.

George was a hardworking man who provided well for his family. For many years he owned and operated Cuske Appliance on 8th and Ohio. He enjoyed sitting and watching nature as well as woodworking.

George is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynn; children: Jackie (David) Wagner, Steven (Cindy) Cuske, and Jim Cuske; grandchildren: Jennifer Cuske, Tracy, Kimberly, CJ, and Cheyanne Wagner; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend Gizmo the Cat. His siblings, Betty Nigl and Jack Cuske preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. TODAY, April 1, 2008 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. A time for sharing memories and support will be held at the funeral chapel from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Condolences may also be given online at www.seefeldfuneral.com
