Obituary
George W. Wickboldt, 77, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on July 2, 2022. He was born on November 30, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to Wilhelmina (Brelsford) and George C. Wickboldt.
George attended MATC until he joined the Coast Guard and went on to work for 25 years with the Milwaukee Fire Department. He loved going fishing, playing with his cats, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his sister, Jane Alioto; nephew, Nicholas Alioto; and niece, Andrea Alioto.
Preceding him in death are his parents, George C. and Wilhelmina Wickboldt.
A celebration of life will be held for George at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Oshkosh Humane Society or to the Milwaukee Fire Department in honor of George.
A special thank you to Dr. Radford of Ascension – Mercy Medical Center, Paige and the caring staff at The Residence of Oshkosh, and Kaci with Heartland Hospice for the care and compassion they gave to George.
