Gerald D. Donahue, 76, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at Encore Senior Villa of Oshkosh. He was born in Baraboo on January 8, 1927 to Dennis and Flora (Glover) Donahue.

Jerry joined the Navy at age 17 and served in World War II. Following this he went to the University of North Dakota where he played football. He retired from Becker Foods of Milwaukee.

Surviving are his son, Kelly Donahue of Milwaukee and his daughter Kellie, another son, Terry (Stephanie) Donahue of Oshkosh, along with many nieces and a nephew. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys (nee Bacon), on July 22, 1995 and by his beloved brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30th, at St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 1333 Walnut Street. The Rev. Robert Stegmann will be the celebrant. Military honors will be presented by the United Veterans Honor Guard outside the church following the mass.

Family and friends may call at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, on Monday evening from 4-7:00 PM. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Friends may also gather at St. Josaphat Parish on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in DePere. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Josaphat Church.
