Geraldine C. Volkman, age 84 of Oshkosh, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2005. She was born September 8, 1921 in Spencer Brook, Minnesota, to Roland and Edith (George) Clough. On April 10, 1942 she married Donald J. Volkman in Junction City, Kansas.
Geraldine was outgoing, giving, and passionate. She was a good mother with a strong work ethic and a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. In her free time she enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Geraldine is survived by her husband: Don; sons: Ronald Volkman of Redgranite and Richard Volkman of Alaska; and grandchildren: John, Annie, and Nathan.
A memorial service will be held for Geraldine at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visitation and support will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
