Gladys I. LaFauce, age 90, of Omro and formerly of Winneconne, died Wednesday evening, December 3, 2008 at Omro Care Center. She was born on June 17, 1918 at Rush Lake, Wisconsin to Glen and Irene ((Splitt) Baitinger. Gladys married Earl LaFauce on May 12, 1945 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1972.


Gladys was employed by Wagner's in Winneconne for several years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winneconne. Gladys was a past member of Winneconne Historical Society and Winneconne Civic League.


Left to mourn her passing is a sister, Maxine (Richard) Dearstein of Appleton; two brothers, Kenneth (Lu) Baitinger of Middleton, Wisconsin, and Donald (Shirley) Baitinger of Winneconne; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Gladys in death are her parents, a sister, Arlouene Baitinger, two brothers, Roy and Eugene Baitinger.
