Gloria Marie Eiden, age 90, of Oshkosh died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Northpoint Med and Rehab. She was born July 4, 1919 the daughter of Ferdinand and Rose (Karst) Hill. Gloria married Frank Eiden Jr. on July 14, 1945 in Lannark. Frank preceded her in death on June 14, 1988.

Gloria was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She belonged to their Aquinas Club and was an active volunteer, serving on the funeral lunch committee for many years. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, golfing, going to her vacation home in Crivitz and spending time with her grandchildren.

Gloria will always be loved and remembered by her daughters: Susan (Ken) Sawitski, Judith Kallman, Mary (special friend Mark Stadler) Eiden all of Oshkosh; grandchildren: Andrew (Kim) Schertz of Kingston, Nicolas (Robyn) Schertz of Tomahawk, Lukas Kallman of Oshkosh, Annah Kallman of Oshkosh; great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Alexandra, Layne, Abigail, Casey, Austyn and Madelynn and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; brother, Ronald Hill; sisters, Virginia Pirtle and Marjorie Ives.

Funeral Service for Gloria will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Peter Site, 435 High Avenue. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will take place at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
