Goldie L. Grunske, age 91, of Oshkosh, died Saturday morning, June 30, 2007 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born in the Township of Algoma to Max and Alvina (Pollack) Grunske on August 27, 1915. Goldie was a life-long member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was employed by Oshkosh Tanning Company in the shipping and sewing departments.


Survivors include her sister, Ina Rasmussen of Oshkosh; 6 nephews and 2 nieces. Preceding Goldie in death are her parents; 2 brothers, John and Reuben; 2 sisters, Sophie and Clara.


Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Jean Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in Brooks Cemetery. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
