Grace "Dolly" Maloney, age 88 died at
Webster Manor in Omro on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. She was born in Waupaca on June 18, 1921 to
Perry G. and Alice H. (Borson) Dibble.
On April 18, 1942 she married Clifford J. Maloney Sr. They enjoyed 40 years together until his
death on December 20, 1982.
Dolly worked with husband on the family
farm in the Poygan area, for 32 years.
She then worked in food service at UW-Oshkosh for 13 years. For many years she was a mall walker at the
Park Plaza. She will be remembered for
her humor, her love of yard work, cooking, crocheting, and most of all: her
love for family. She enjoyed her time
with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and
great-great-grandchildren.
Surviving Dolly are her children: Judy
(Donald) Weeks of Berlin, Clifford "Butch" (Barbara) Maloney of Omro, Carol
Juedes of Oshkosh, and Scott (Lisa) Maloney of Park Falls; thirteen
grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister-in-law,
Dorothy Dibble, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dolly was preceded in death by
her brothers: Harold, Evan, Robert (Margaret), Perry (Alfrieda), and Earl Dibble;
sisters: Helen Dibble and Ruth (Edward) Warnke; and great-grandchild, David
Weeks.
Funeral services for Dolly will be
held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Seefeld Family of Funeral
Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. A time
of visiting, for sharing memories and support, will be held at the funeral
chapel on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial
