Grace A. Thoma passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh, at the age of 73. She will be sadly missed by her husband, James, who over the past 53 years came to realize that happiness was all about being together.
In the immediate family, Grace was a member of the "3 Halls of Fame." One for her cooking, one for her decorating, and one for her artistic talents in oil painting, water color, and Wycinanki (paper cutting).

She most enjoyed doing her artwork at her studio in Upper Michigan, where she spent the past 25 summers at her easel.
