Grace E. Wrage, age 93, of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Bethel Home. Grace was born on June 19, 1920 to Abraham and Bessie (Fink) McAssey. She married Nicholas Wrage on June 26, 1938. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mostly she was a stay at home mom, and later worked at Neuberger Co. and Miles Kimball. Her family, especially her grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed shopping, and exercising. She loved to cook and bake, and would always make everyone's favorite.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Daryl) Olmsted and Gerald (Jean) Wrage; grandchildren, Sheri (Dave) Weinreis, Lorilee Olmsted, Carrie Nicholson, Michelle Ziarnik; great grandchildren, Ross, Cody, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Clayton, Kyra (Mike) and Carly; one great great granddaughter, Samara; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas; brother, Robert McAssey and infant sister, Goldie McAssey.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St., on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jakes Voker officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Sunday, June 1, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Grace will be laid to rest in Ellenwood Cemetery on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Grace's family would like to thank the staff at Bethel 1 West for the care given to Grace and her family. Also special thanks to Grace's four granddaughters for always being there for Grandma.
