Harriet F. Clendening, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She was born in Neenah on November 3, 1920, the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Malchow) Thermansen. On June 14, 1943 she married Duane Clendening at First Congregational Church in Oshkosh. Harriet worked for Kimberly Clark as a bookkeeper for many years. She was proud to be in the Kimberly Clark Band as the drum major and a 70 year member of First Congregational Church. Harriet will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor.
Harriett is survived by her grandchildren: Diane (Duane) Moon of Manitowoc, James (Pam) Weber II of Coatesville, IN and Marnie (Joe) Robertson of Cloverdale, IN; great-grandchildren: Rebecca Bradley, Jamie (Bruce) Weber, Matthew Bradley and Meghan Moon; and two great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents; daughter, Patricia (James) Ann Weber; and sister, Thelma Falch.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, with Rev. Ralph DiBiasio-Snyder officiating. Friends will be received at Lakeview from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
