Harry H. Dushenski, age 89, of Omro, died Sunday morning, April 27, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center. He was born August 25, 1918, in Oshkosh, the son of Roman and Anna (Macho) Dushenski. Harry married Marie E. Jungwirth on October 2, 1944, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Omro.

Dad was a wonderfully devoted father and husband beyond words. For the past nine years he spent every single day - the entire day, without fail - lovingly caring for his wife, Marie, who resides at Omro Care Center.
He worked 44 years at Universal Foundry. Dad loved golfing and fishing. In earlier years, he and his wife took great pride in their vegetable garden. One of DadÂ's greatest joys was grilling his famous chicken for family picnics and gatherings.
He died unexpectedly following a sudden onset and complications of pneumonia.
In respect to HarryÂ's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. Harry will be laid to rest in the Omro Cemetery with a private family service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
