Harry F. Hansen, age 97, of Oshkosh, died Monday afternoon, July 28, 2014, at Century Oaks. Born on July 18, 1917, in Oshkosh, the son of Harry and Hazel (Stille) Hansen, Harry married Florence Barsch on October 6, 1945, in Oshkosh. Florence preceded Harry in death on February 18, 2013.
A Veteran of WWII, Harry proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Corps. He was employed for many years as a printer with the Oshkosh Northwestern Newspaper until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki (Gary) Weisbrick of Maricopa, Arizona, and Debbie (Steve) Herman of Oshkosh; two granddaughters, Shele (Greg) Hauser of Chandler, Arizona, and Amy Herman of Rhinelander; a grandson, Jason Herman of Oshkosh; and two great-grandchildren, Camron and Collin Hauser. Preceding Harry in death is his wife, a grandson, Greg Weisbrick, and a brother, Richard "Dick" Hansen.
