Helen L. Challoner, age 88, passed away at Parkview Care Center in Oshkosh on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born in Oshkosh on September 11, 1924 to the late George and Adelia (Bohmann) Challoner. Helen was employed by the Leach Brothers Company, Dr. Fred Konzer, and 40 years with the Oshkosh Area School District.

Helen is survived by her sister, Myra (William) Manser of Oshkosh; brother, George (Faye) Challoner of Appleton; nephews: James (Jane) and Jack Pommerening, Joseph (Debra) Manser, Andrew Manser and partner Jeff Rehfeldt, and George Challoner; nieces: Mary (John) Gronlund, Laura Challoner (William) Hue, and Elizabeth (Greg) Payne; great-nephews: Nathan (Katy) Manser, Brian (Melissa) Buss and their daughter, Bethany; Daniel, Ryker and Paul Payne; and great-niece, Taylor Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Ivan Pommerening.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Omro Cemetery.
