Helen E. Lageman, age 96, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Born on April 9, 1915, in Dawson, Minnesota, to Henry and Ruth (Johnson) Holmes, Helen married William Lageman on April 26, 1941 in Goodhue, Minnesota. William preceded Helen in death.
She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Helen's favorite activities were playing Canasta, listening to baseball games on the radio, and of course, watching the Packers play on Sundays.
Survivors include a son, Bill (Judith) Lageman of Oshkosh; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Holmes. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Burton Holmes.
