Helen Morrison, 82, passed away August 6th. She was born October 23, 1938 to Alice (Roerdink) and Bill TeRonde and grew up in Oostburg, WI. She graduated from Oostburg High School, and on July 3, 1957 she married the love of her life, David Morrison. They were married at the bride's home in Oostburg.
Helen worked at Sandknit, McGregor, Menasha Corps, and then at PrintCo until she retired. As an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Omro, she was the church organist and participated in the choir and bell choir for many years. Helen loved quilting and spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her husband of 64 years, David Morrison Sr.; children, Dave (Traci) Morrison Jr., Debbie (Ron) Uecker, Paul (LaVay) Morrison, and Lynn Morrison; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, with 3 more great-grandchildren on the way. She is further survived by her sister, Carol (Mike) Skeris; brother, Roy TeRonde; and sister-in-laws, Jean Timm and Mary (Rick) Uecker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alice; brother, Richard TeRonde; sister-in-laws, Irene TeRonde and Nancy Person; brother-in-laws, Jerry Person and Fred Timm.
A celebration of Helen's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 955 N Webster Ave, Omro, WI 54963 on Wednesday, August 11. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church Music Ministry or Heartland Hospice.
