Helen M. Stoker, age 83, of Oshkosh and formerly of Milwaukee, died Thursday evening February 10, 2005, at Oshkosh Medical and Rehab Center. She was born on May 5, 1921 in Milwaukee to John and Anna Tripzyk. On August 21, 1948 she married Frank Stoker in Milwaukee.
Helen was a mother of seven children who enjoyed the holidays. She collected plates and bells. When her children left home she chose to be a foster parent.
Survivors include daughters: Margaret Boser of Adams-Friendship; Mary (Darryl Dorpat) Stoker of Rhinelander; sons: John (Sandy) Stoker of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin; David (Ljubica) Stoker of Vernon, Wisconsin; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter: Sandra Hoyle; sons: Peter and Michael Stoker; and great-grandson: Michael Stoker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 14, 2005, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Father Daniel Felton officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Seefeld Oregon Street Chapel from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Milwaukee.
