Henry E. Dettlaff, age 84, of Oshkosh, died Sunday morning, May 20, 2007 at his residence. He was born on December 5, 1922 in Oshkosh to Michael and Mary (Klebbe) Dettlaff. Henry married Audrey Daubert on April 12, 1947 in Oshkosh. Henry was a self-employed painting contractor in the Oshkosh area and served with the U.S Army Air Corp during WWII.


Survivors include his wife, Audrey Dettlaff of Oshkosh; a daughter, Sue (Jim) Meyer of Oshkosh; four grandsons, Jeff (Alicia Firkus) Meyer, Ben (Kelly) Meyer, John (Tina) Meyer, and Jim (Carissa) Meyer; 10 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Paige, Megan, Andre, Quinn, Logan, Noah, Brayden, Aiden, and Carter.
