Henry R. J. Hintz, age 82, passed away September 10, 2014, at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh. Henry was born December 9, 1931, in Omro, the son of Edward and Lillian (Wolf) Hintz. He married Gladys Hertzberg on March 20, 1954. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2008. Henry farmed along with his wife for many years.Henry is survived by his son and daughter in law, Neil and Gail of Oshkosh; daughter, Sherry (Jeffrey) Mayer of Milwaukee, grandchildren, Crystal (Andrew) Kriz, Joshua (Rachel) Hintz, Kody (Molly) Shanklin, Somantha Shanklin; great grandson, Evan Kriz; brothers, Lyell (Shirley), Marvin (Bea); sister, Adele Morris; Keith Shanklin, father of Kody and Somantha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gladys; sister, Brenda Boe; brother, Edward. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
