Hilda Marie Troudt, age 90 of Oshkosh, died at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation on Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was born in Oshkosh to Herman and Marie (Schumacher) Ristow on September 3, 1919. On February 2, 1938 she married Harry Troudt. They enjoyed 54 years together until his death on July 4, 1992.
Hilda enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, and active participant in the VFW Auxiliary. Hilda had many friends, and she loved social gatherings.
Surviving Hilda is her daughter, Helen (David) Leichtfuss; grandchildren, Ricky Leichtfuss and Kathleen (Larry) Luther; and great-grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Luther, all of Oshkosh. In addition to her husband, Harry, Hilda was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.
A funeral service will be held for Hilda at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. A time for sharing memories and support will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
