Howard C. "Howie" Lee, age 70, of Omro, died Saturday evening, September 25, 2010, at the Omro Care Center. He was born on May 9, 1940, the son of Leland and Marion (Craig) Lee. Howie was a graduate of Omro High School, was a US Army Veteran and worked at the Omro Lumber Yard for 38 years, owning it for 8 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

Howie is loved and will be missed by his daughter, Lisa A. (Michael) Soto of Franklin, WI; son, Steven P. (Kyla) Lee of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Aaron, Noah, Nicholas, Sam and Kamron; brothers, Richard, Robert (Kathy), Donald (Joni) and Gary (Sue); sisters, Janet (Bob) O'Keefe and Diane Kallas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Richard R. "Ernie" Kallas.

In respect to Howie's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at the funeral home in Omro from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 P.M. Memorials in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
