Howard E. Reinhart, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Thursday morning, April 25, 2013, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. Born on June 28, 1932, in Kennard, Pennsylvania, to Floyd and Mary (Fisher) Reinhart, Howard married Janet R. Forney on August 4, 1956 in West Virginia.
Employed by ForeWay Express as Director of Labor Relations, Howard retired in 1992. He was a Korean War Veteran, having served his country with the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW. He was an excellent skeet shooter, having won numerous awards for his shooting. Favorite past times of Howard's were golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 56 years, Janet Reinhart of Oshkosh; a daughter, Linda (Terry) Kindl of Oshkosh; two sons, Douglas (Gail) Reinhart of East Troy, Wisconsin, and Dale (special friend, Tina LaGrew) Reinhart of Washburn, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Amber, Trent, Shane, and Bethany; a brother, Albert Reinhart of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Norma J. Reinhart of Pennsylvania, and Patricia Smock of Pennsylvania; special friends, Jerry and Shirley Sprague of Omro; nieces and nephews and other long-time friends in Florida and Arizona. Preceding Howard in death are his parents; father-in-law, mother-in-law; infant daughter, Darla Reinhart; a brother, Raymond Reinhart; and a sister-in-law, Norma E. Reinhart; and several nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh. Full military honors will be given followed by entombment. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday from Noon until service time at the chapel.
