Obituary
Irene Calhoon, 89, passed away July 27, 2022. She was born to Ruth (VanVorst) and Richard H. Schroeder on May 14, 1933.
Irene married Earl Calhoon on September 23, 1952 and together they shared almost 45 years of marriage. She was a very kind and compassionate person to everyone who knew her, and for being self-sufficient and well-organized.
She is survived by her nephews, Mike (Dana) of Washington, and Jeff (Kelly) of Arizona.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Earl; her parents, Ruth and Richard; and her brother, Howard.
Irene will be laid to rest at Omro Cemetery next to her husband Earl.
The family would like to thank Odd Fellows Nursing Home, as well as the staff with Compassus Hospice for the care and compassion they provided Irene and her friends and family.
