Irene B. Treviranus, age 74, of Omro, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday evening, September 6, 2014. She was born July 14, 1940, the daughter of Roy and Lois (Lavender) Omarro. Irene married John H. Treviranus on June 5, 1957 in Appleton. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2002. Before moving to Omro 17 years ago, she and her family had lived in Winneconne. Irene enjoyed playing on her computer, trips to the Casino and spending time with her family.Irene is survived by daughters, Tammy (Jose) Baeza of Woodstock, IL, Lois (Efrain) Duran of Carpentersville, IL, Judith Treviranus (Juan Marquez) of Okeechobee, FL, Brenda (Anastacio) Acosta of Elgin, IL; sons, John Roy Treviranus of Omro and Timothy (Karen) Treviranus of Park Falls, WI; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Judith Silski of Omro; brother, Joe Omarro of Elgin, IL; other relatives and friends.Visitation will be held at the Omro Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at the Omro Cemetery. A memorial is being established.
