Irving H. Zuelke, age 75, of Omro, died early Thursday morning, September 17, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born May 4, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Harry and Lydia Zuelke. Irving married Marjorie Ann Wendland on December 29, 1956, in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years. Irving enjoyed the outdoors and spent his free time fishing, hunting, working on old cars and making bird houses. In his retirement he enjoyed watching and feeding birds, especially humming birds.
Irving is loved and will be missed by his wife, Marjorie Ann Zuelke; daughters, Debra Lynn Mansfield of Oshkosh; Karen Jean Pfluger of Green Bay; grandchildren, Brandon Mansfield and Taylor Pfluger; cousin, Jim (Carol) Lindemann; special friends, George Mansfield, Chris Pfluger and Jerry Scherr; other relatives and friends.
In respect to Irving's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
