Little Chute- James R. Glasheen age 57, died peacefully at home on Friday February 20, 2004. He was born on October 13, 1946 in Little Chute, WI., the son of William and Wilma Derkes Glasheen. Jim was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy, enjoyed camping and fishing, and was a dispatcher at Straight Shot Express.

Jim is survived and loved by his parents: William & Wilma Glasheen of Kimberly, Children: Ross ( Fiancé Becky) of Appleton, Robyn of Appleton, Amanda, David, Paul and Elizabeth all of Kaukauna, Grandchildren: Stephanie and Samantha, Godson, Michael Tews, one Sister: Susan M. DeBruin of Middleton, Brothers: Robert (Sharon) of Kaukauna, Joseph of Appleton, Michael (Kathy) of Kaukauna, Stephen (Donna) of Neenah and Patrick (Ann) of Appleton, other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Ross & Regina Glasheen and his maternal grandparents: William & Nellie Derkes.

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 22, 2004 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, 2749 N. French Rd., Appleton from 4-7 p.m. and then on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Ash officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
