James C. Keltesch, age 75, of Oshkosh, died on April 24, 2015, in his sleep at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy illness. He was born June 6, 1939, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Nicholas and Florence (Zeck) Keltesch. Jim attended school in Milwaukee and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. On July 10, 1961, he married Sharon Kloskey who preceded him in death on June 18, 2002. Jim was employed by Milwaukee County until his retirement.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey (Joan) Keltesch of Oshkosh; two grandsons, Adam Keltesch and Noah Keltesch, both of Oshkosh; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Kloskey of Wind Lake, Wisconsin; two sisters, Esther (Larry) Fix of Arizona and Judy (Gaynard) Hinze of Greenfield, Wisconsin; a brother-in-law, Jack (Charmein) Kloskey of wind Lake, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Jim in death is his wife; a grandson, Jacob Keltesch; and siblings, Ruth Engelhardt, Richard Keltesch, Marge Gjellestad, Robert Keltesch, Marilyn Schultz, and Kathleen Garcia.
A private graveside service will be held with inurnment at Arlington Memorial Park in Milwaukee at a future date.
