James Arthur Tucker, age 73 of Oshkosh died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born in Upham, the son of James and Marion (Brockway) Tucker, he married Patricia Milner and she preceded him in death on October 26, 1978.
James was a member of the Oshkosh Eagles for 46 years and was also a past president. He enjoyed his daily breakfast at the Rose Garden Café with his friends and he also was an avid bowler and golfer. James owned A&H Refrigeration for many years.
James will be forever loved and cherished by his children: Brenda (Wayne) Gray and Steven Tucker, both of Oshkosh; his granddaughter Michelle Gray; two great-grandchildren, Sydney Gray-Pinno and Raigan Klotz. He is further survived by his sisters, Berniece Kent, Norval Gander, Delores Galligan and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Delbert and Vern Tucker as well as his granddaughter, Jennifer Gray.
Funeral service for James will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time a visiting and sharing of memories will take place on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
