Jane Ann Martinez, 75, of Omro, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025.
Born on November 21, 1949, in Omro, WI, Jane dedicated her life to caring for others. She earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Master's in Quality from Marian College. Her passion for learning and helping others was evident throughout her career and personal life.
Jane was a devoted wife to Joseph Michael Martinez and a loving mother to her daughter, Crystal Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard William Kolbus and Delores Arlyle Kolbus.
She is survived by her siblings, Patricia (Richard) Malvarose, Dennis (Laura) Kolbus, John (Karin) Kolbus and Susan (Garry) Toddish, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A longtime member of St. Andrew's Church, Jane's faith was an important part of her life. Beyond her professional achievements, she had a deep passion for quilting, sewing, and reading. Her love for angels brought her comfort and joy, as did the company of her beloved dogs, Yoshi, Tucker and Chewie.
Jane will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Services will be held on February 21st at St. Andrew's Church, 1100 E. Murdock in Oshkosh. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to St. Andrew's Church or a charity of your choice.
