Jane A. Nicolaison, age 89, of Oshkosh, died Monday evening, March 7, 2016, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. Born on May 8, 1926, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Clarence and Vera (Burton) Franz, Jane married Edwin Nicolaison on September 4, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Employed by Oshkosh Telephone Company as a switchboard operator, Jane was a member of the Oshkosh Pioneers and she enjoyed many sessions of bingo at the Marine Corp League Clubhouse.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice Graf of Oshkosh, Wendy Boyer of Denver, Colorado, and Roberta (Alfred Lourenco) Bruley of Oshkosh; a son, Scott (Toi) Nicolaison of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ann (Louis) Forbredg of Minnesota. Preceding Jane in death is her husband, a son, Eugene Nicolaison, parents, and a brother, Calvin Franz.
Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Christian Center, 939 Bowen Street.
