Janell E. Kirch, age 63, of Omro, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee following a short illness. She was born June 7, 1944, in Milwaukee the daughter of Sylvester and Evelyn (Knoth) Werner. Janell married her high school sweet heart, William P. Kirch, Jr. on September 7, 1963 in Milwaukee. They moved to Omro from Milwaukee in 1975. She helped her husband operate the family business, Bill Kich Motors for a number of years and she also worked over 20 years at Buckstaff Company in Oshkosh until her illness. Her family and home were her priorities and meant everything to her. She truly was a very very nice person.

Janell is survived, loved and will be missed by her best friend and husband, William P. Kirch, Jr.; children, Teddy J. (Alex) Jozsi of Omro, Tammy Lynn Kirch of Omro, Teresa (Jeff) Johnson of De Kalb, IL, and William J. Kirch of Omro; grandchildren, Katie, Alex and Cassandra Jozsi, Elissa Johnson and Janell Kirch; brother, Clyde (Chris) Werner of Lomira, WI; sisters, Beverly (Glen) Berger of Oconomowoc, and Diane Steele of Waukesha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and mother and father in law.

In respect to Janell's memory, visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and then again on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Omro Cemetery. A memorial in her name is being established.
