Janice A. Dunham, age 60, died unexpectedly at her residence in the evening on Saturday, September 16, 2006. She was born to Edward and Minnie (Flink) Riske on December 9, 1945 in Waupaca, WI. Janice married Wayne Dunham in Oshkosh on March 9, 1968 at First English Lutheran Church.
Janice was a very loving mother to her three children. She was especially fond of her seven grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards. Janice was always there to help out her family and her friends. She was also a member of First English Lutheran Church. Janice found great joy working at Wal-Mart in the Lawn & Garden department.
Survivors include her husband: Wayne, one son: Bradley, and two daughters: Kelly (Jeff) Langkau, and Holly (Dan) Diley, all of Oshkosh. Further surviving Janice are seven grandchildren: Kristen, Branden, and Austen Langkau; Cassie Dunham, Kyle and Amanda Diley, and Michael Wuest. Two sisters: Shirley (Denny) Behn of Waupaca, and Joyce Griswold of Fremont survive Janice, as well as three brothers: Elmer (Pat) Riske, Everett Riske, both of Fond du Lac and Jerry (Judy) Riske of Texas. Three sisters-in-law also survive Janice: Carol (Ron) Kentopp of Oshkosh, Dorothy Christenson of Sturgeon Bay, and Judy Riske of Arizona, and also one brother-in-law: Carl Anklam of Berlin. Two very special friends further survive Janice: Sally and Dave Kuehn of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson: Michael, two brothers, and two sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on September 19, 2006, at 12:00 NOON at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Pastor Chuck Fluegel will be officiating. Family and friends may gather for visitation at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Janice's name.
