Janice Lee Geen, age 81, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Janice was born to Gustave and Lillian (Woeshnik) Belkye on November 27, 1934. She married James Geen in Oshkosh on June 29, 1957. Janice loved her flower and vegetable gardens, quilting, she was an active member of St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and going up to the cabin.
Janice is survived by children: Sandy Eichhorst, Richard (Shirley) Geen, and Donald Geen; grandchildren: Robyn (Joe) Kortz, Tina Eichhorst, Richard Geen Jr., Bart Jr. (Laura) Eichhorst and Tabitha Geen; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Cameron and Cady Kortz, Dale Eichhorst and Emma Eichhorst; many in laws, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, James; son, David; grandchild, Nicole Geen; great-grandchild, Liam Kortz; sister, Nancy (Nyle) Johnson and brother, Clarence Belkye.
Funeral services for Janice will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave, with Reverend Karen Jewell officiating. A time of visiting will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. She will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park.
