Jean L. Fuller, 94, of Oshkosh, WI passed in peace and with dignity on Monday, July 3, 2017. Jean was born on June 20, 1923 in Chippewa Falls, WI to the late Mr. Patrick and Grace (Hartman) Allard. She married her childhood sweetheart, Douglas Fuller, on January 19, 1944. He passed away May 26, 1998. Jean was a religious and patriotic woman, serving God and her country. Jean was a member of the Marine Corps Auxiliary League, and the American Legion holding several offices over the years. Jean enjoyed membership with the Paine Arboretum and the Oshkosh Public Museum Guild, she also volunteered her service with Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. Other involvement included Oshkosh Senior Center and singing in a senior chorus group, she was also an ambassador for the Oshkosh Convention and Tourism Bureau. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church most of her life. Jean was a domestic engineer, she raised her children to love and to enjoy life.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas Fuller, their son: Brice Fuller, her parents: Patrick and Grace (Hartman) Allard and her siblings: Clayton Harman, Grant Hartman, Phyllis Rogers, Raymond Allard, and Marsha Pausig.
Jean is survived by her children: Roxanne (Tom) Sprehe, Ross (Nancy) Fuller, Sandi Bea (Terry) Krause, and Slayton (Susan) Fuller, her grandchildren: Keven (Rachel) Sprehe, Kari (Tim) Meshak, Cassie (Rudy) Soliz, Joanne (Mike) Garringer, Chelsee (Sam) Krause-Pruitt, Parker Fuller, and Paige Fuller, her great-grandchildren: Megan, Abigail, Kamilla, Alivia, Dalton, Savana, and Lexi, Lindsey, Hanna, Kimberly, and her great-great-grandchildren: Jaedyn, Easton, Damien, Claire. Jean is also survived by her special friend Irv Tesch.
A funeral service to celebrate Jean's life will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Oshkosh, with Reverend Christopher Arnold and Deacon Sandra Muinde officiating. A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 9:00 A.M. to the time of the service at the church.
