Jeffery "Jeffy Joe" J. Engelman, age 69, passed away at home on Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born in Oshkosh on September 7, 1945 the son of the late Clair and Blanche (Creapo) Engelman. On February 14, 2006 he married Joyce Patrie in Las Vegas, NV. Jeff was a restaurant manager for Mr. Cinders, Kodiak Jacks, and Hot Rod Willy's. He also worked with outdoor amusement. Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casino and woodworking. He will be remembered for his kindness, his outgoing personality, and big heart. And may we not forget his daily bacon, peanut butter and Fireballs.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Dean (Brenda) Engelman and Dale Engelman; Joyce's children: William (Christine) Otto and Kayla (William Carmichael) Braunlich; grandchildren: MaKaylah, Ryan and Claire; brothers: Lee (Judy) and Gary (Carla) Engelman, and Jimmy and Jerry (Lorra) Klein; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Ruth; and step-father, Wenzel Frank Klein.
The memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Seefeld Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy King officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
