Jeffrey Clayton Daugherty "Dort", age 50, of Glidden, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born June 13, 1964, in Oshkosh, the son of Robert and Patti (Parrow) Daugherty. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Omro, was educated in the Omro School System and graduated from Omro High School in 1982. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Jeff had worked many years as an engineer on oil rigs throughout the United States. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, snowmobiling and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jeff is loved and will be missed by the love of his life, Tiffany Eickermann and their black lab, Newman of Glidden; mother, Patti Daugherty of Oshkosh; brothers, Shaun (Jenny) Daugherty of Omro, Dana (Angie) Daugherty of Oshkosh; sisters, Stacey (Ken) Stone of Omro, Bobbi (Tim) LaCroix of Oshkosh; special friends, Doug Peer of Bear Creek, James (Betts) Glassman of Grayeagle, CA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Daugherty; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; and a number of aunts and uncles.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A memorial in Jeff's name is being established.
