Obituary
Jeffrey Scott Franz, age 60, of Omro passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born May 3, 1964, to Carlton "Cully" and Laurel (Larsen) Franz. Jeff graduated from Omro High School in 1982. He was a former member of the Winneconne Volunteer Fire Department. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family (including his grand-dog Uma), cook-outs, woodworking and tinkering in the garage. He was a jack of many trades.
He is survived by his two children, Joshua Hoppe & Kandie Franz both of Oshkosh; mother, Laurel Franz; sister, Debbie (Mark) Reeves; brother, Steve (Lori) Franz; special cousin, Larry (Cindy) Larsen, Nephew Jason (Jackie); and great niece, Julee Reeves - all of Omro; and special niece, Heather (Justin) Mathias of Oshkosh.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Cully Franz; and former wife, Lisa Breezee.
Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church of Omro on Tuesday July 30, 2024. Visitation will be from 9am-11am, service to follow with Pastor Mark Wenzel officiating. Light lunch will be offered at the church fellowship hall after the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Kwiatkowski funeral home.
Jeff's final resting place will be the Waukau Cemetery.
