Jerry Alan "Red" Cottman, age 41 passed away Sunday, September 11, 2005. He was born April 29, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio. He was the son of Jerome and Loretta Cottman.
Jerry was employed at Fox Valley Insulation. He was a very talented in Dart League. He loved pool, fishing, hunting with buddies, grilling, wave running with his son and friends, and watching movies. Jerry was a compassionate and loving man, always there to help. He was good hearted and liked by a lot of people.
Survivors include dearly loved son: Allen Blake Cottman of Oshkosh; mother: Loretta Cottman of Ohio; brothers: Joe Cottman of Black Creek and Jeff (Jan) Cottman of Ohio; sisters: Theresa (Fred) Mossbarger of Ohio, Caroline (Jim) Davies of Ohio, Tina (Lewis) D. Aquilla of Mississippi, Debbie (Kim) Bond of Washington, and Shirley Bunch of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by girlfriend: Lori Henry of Oshkosh; special friends: Randy Lee and kids: Steph Lee, Christopher Lee, and Little Mickey Lee; Steve Lee, Steve Kluge, Fat Johnny, Jimmy, Vern Klicko, Ginger Averkamp, and Donna Fralish all of Oshkosh; and all his friends at work. His father Jerome Cottman preceded him in death.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street.
