Jerry O. Hill, age 57, of Omro, died Saturday, June 02, 2007 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Jerry was born on September 14, 1949 to Omer and Marion (Brown) Hill. He served his country with the Marines in Vietnam. Jerry worked for Jay Manufacturing in Oshkosh for almost 18 years. Jerry loved spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing, bee keeping and searching for and finding American Indian artifacts.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Jake Hill of Oshkosh and Ben Hill of Omro; his sisters, Patricia Hill and Pamela Hill, both of Wisconsin Rapids; 5 step sisters, and one step brother, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and step mother, Marjorie Hill.
Friends and family may gather at the Omro Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Veterans Service at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. with Omro American Legion Post 234, performing the honors. A special thank you to Michelle Nicewander and Marcia Lange for their help and care of Jerry. A memorial in Jerry's name is being established.
