Joan J. Fink, age 72, of Eureka, died peacefully at home on Monday, March 03, 2008. She was born January 2, 1936, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Edwin and Ida (Voss) Cleveland.
Joan was a person who enjoyed adventure; this was evidenced by her willingness to go anywhere on the spur of the moment. She was a homebody by heart and liked to take care of her home and others. She spent her free time at home playing with her computer, playing scrabble, cooking and baking her famous lemon meringue pies.
Joan is loved and will be missed by her husband, Roy A. "Jupe" Fink, Jr.; children, Jill Ann M. (Steven) O'Mary of Oshkosh, Diane Davis of Appleton, Timothy J. (Alice) Davis of Omega, WI, Shawn Fink of Eureka; step son, Mike (Linda) Craig of Omro; daughter in law, Pamela Davis of Berlin; grandchildren, Amy, Hannah, Laura, Mandi, Melissa, Christopher, Kristy, Zaynah, Beth and Wendy. She is further survived by 9 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Joan was preceded in death by her first husband, Alonzo Davis; son, Michael Davis; brother, Eddie; and sister, June.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and then again on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Eureka United Methodist Church in Eureka, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Donald Olm officiating. Burial will follow in the Eureka Cemetery. A memorial in her name is being established.
