Joan Rae Krueger, age 77 of Oshkosh, died at North Point Med and Rehab on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. She was born on January 24, 1928 to the late Ernie and Marguerite (Freeman) Wilson. In 1975 her life changed with the death of her only son: Terry Lee Krueger.

Joan had a dry sense of humor and was a feisty woman who loved to joke and have fun. She enjoyed country western music and collected many albums along with collecting angels. She was and avid bowler and enjoyed traveling.

Six nieces and nephews: Mary, Grace, Kenneth Jr., Kathy, Guerney, and Susan; two granddaughters; and sister-in-law: Betty Wilson survive Joan. She is further survived by her cousin and best friend: Marion Freeman, and Marion's daughter: Bridget Pannell, who Joan considered the daughter she never had. Joan's brothers: Ernie Jr., Kenneth, and Billy preceded her in death.

A gathering will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 13, 2006, at her gravesite in Lake View Memorial Park.
