Joanne I. Huebner, age 86, of Oshkosh, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born in Oshkosh on June 4, 1929 the daughter of the late Theodore and Ione (Bullinger) Krueger. On January 28, 1951 she married Allan H. Schultz in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death in January of 1986. On February 13, 1994 she married LeRoy A. Huebner in Oshkosh. After raising her children Joanne worked for the family business, Badger Electric Supply Co., in sales and in the office. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran and Faith Lutheran churches for many years. Her strong faith and Christian values made her a wonderful role model for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her great sense of humor will be missed.
Joanne is survived by her husband, LeRoy; children: Mary Jo (Jim) Van Dyke of Appleton, Vicki (Leslie) Heimerman of Green Bay, Jill (Jeff Miller) Pearson of Oshkosh; grandchildren: Eric and Kelly Heimerman, Brady (Virginia) Sturm, Emily (Jeremy) Gordee, Dustin (Jacinda) Pearson, Joel (Jennifer) Heimerman, and Dane (Ambri) Heimerman; 12 wonderful great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine (Ted) Tellekson of Wausau; half-sister, Judy Oswald; and brother-in-law, Charles Schultz. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allan; and brother, William (Jean) Krueger.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1745 Ohio St., Oshkosh, with Rev. Don Forss officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
