Joanne M. (O'Keefe) Worchel, 83, exited her earthly body and entered heaven on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. She was born September 23, 1939, to Iola (Malnory) and Patrick O'Keefe, in Winchester WI. In the early 1970's Joanne trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was born again into the family of God.

Joanne graduated from Omro High School in 1957, and married Alvin E. Worchel on May 26, 1962. She enjoyed riding her bike nightly with her husband, and spending time with her family. She worked at HB Patch as a food server, Omro Care Center assisting with laundry, and the local laundromat. She is survived by her daughter, Debora (Richard) Ives; son, Gary Worchel; grandchildren, David, Danae, Daniel (Anna), Dannah (Stephen) Michel, Dalaney Ives; two great-granddaughters, Leah and Felicity Ives; sister, Linda O'Mary. She is further survived by her aunt, Mary Malnory; brothers-in-law, Ronald Widmer, Gordon (Donna) Worchel; sister-in-law, Janet O'Keefe; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Alvin Worchel; parents, sister, Blanche Widmer; brother, Robert O'Keefe; sisters-in-law, Dolores Worchel and Donna (Harland) Schubert; brother-in-law, Eugene (Viola) Worchel; and nephew, Patrick O'Keefe.

Funeral services will be held at Wyldewood Baptist Church, 3030 Witzel Ave. Oshkosh, WI, 54904, on Friday June 16, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9am and continue until time of service at 11am. Rev. Randall G. King will be officiating. Burial at Omro Cemetery will be held following services at 2pm.
