Joel F. Biebl, age 60, of Omro, died Sunday evening, January 30, 2005, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born March 8, 1944 in Oshkosh, WI., the son of Wenzel and Mary (Keough) Biebl. He married his lifelong friend, Kay Brans on October 8, 1966. All who knew Joe will remember his fondness for traveling, bowling, and entertaining family and friends. Joe retired in 2000 from Winnebago Mental Health Center in Oshkosh, WI.

He is survived by his loving wife; Kay, sisters; Barbara (Wayne) Williams of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Peggy Gregg of Rantoul, Illinois and Rosemary Gormley of Bothell, Washington, mother in law; Genevieve Brans of Omro, 3 sisters in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., Omro, from 3 – 6:15 p.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
