John Stephen Bahr died peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Bethel Home after a long battle with cancer. John, a son of the late John O. Bahr and Elizabeth (Blanchard) Bahr, was born on April 18, 1945, in Oshkosh.
He is survived by two children, Jodi (John) and Jason (Cynthia); five grandchildren, Cassandra, John, Jena, Logan, and Reece; two sisters, Mary (David) and Barbara (Thomas); nephew, Brian (Emily); niece, Jennifer (Tarn); great-niece, Josephine; great-nephew, Sylas; and a special friend, Gisela (Mark).
A special thank you, from the family, to the nurses and doctors at the Lombardi Clinic and the staff at Bethel Home, for the excellent care given to John during his illness. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 12 noon until service time. Inurnment will take place in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Father Carr's Saint Francis Clinic.
